Prof. Dr. Liu Dahai, Ph.D supervisor, Director of Center of Coastal Science and Policy, Chief expert on Marine Spatial Management and Planning, Head of the first-level discipline of Environmental Science, First Institute of Oceanography (FIO) of Ministry of Natural Resources(MNR).

 In 2021, he led the establishment of the Key Laboratory of Coastal Science and Integrated Management (CoSIM), which is the first batch of new founded key laboratories since the founding of MNR. He is now the executive deputy director and academic leader of CoSIM whose aim is to build an multi-disciplinary comprehensive laboratory for coastal zone. He is also the IFC economist of World Bank, Chief Expert of Major Projects of National Social Science Foundation of China and High-level Innovative Talent of MNR.
