As part of the activities of the European COST Action Ocean Governance for Sustainability (CA 15217) a Land-Sea Interactions Training School will be held at Ovidius University of Constanta, Romania. The workshop is aimed at early career researchers, which includes anyone who is pursuing a PhD or has received their PhD within the past 3 years.
The main objectives of this event aim to assess current knowledge on land-sea interactions: social and economic perspectives, as well as policy perspective on required changing governance. Attendees will be able to benefit from a series of lectures and workshop sessions led by a number of trainers who have profound experience in these fields.
This training school will focus on three specific dimensions:

Constanta is the major maritime city at the Black Sea and is well connected to Bucharest by road and high-speed rail. There are a range of accommodation options close to the university (more details to follow for attendees).

There is funding available for a number of PhD students to attend this event – up to a maximum of 300 EURO for Romanian attendees and 500 EURO for attendees from other non-Romanian countries.
